प्रार्थना

"भगवान मात्र पहाड सार्न सक्नुहुन्छ, तर विश्वास र प्रार्थना भगवान सार्न सक्नुहुन्छ।"

This quote from a song in one of our choir books here in California reminds us that there is great power in even a little faith when God is with us.  Let’s look at what Jesus said about faith.

मत्ती 17:20

"२० र येशूले उनीहरुलाई भन्नुभयो, तिम्रो अविश्वासको कारणले: साँच्चै म तिमीहरुलाई भन्दछु, यदि तिमीहरु राईको दानाको रूपमा विश्वास गर्छौ भने, तिमीले यो पहाडलाई भन्नु पर्छ, यता उता बाट हटाउनुहोस्; र यो हटाइनेछ; र तपाइँलाई केहि असम्भव हुनेछैन "

Faith is a belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence.  We see in the scripture that Jesus said we only need faith as a grain of mustard seed to move mountains.  Mustard seeds are tiny little seeds.  Did you know that all we need is a tiny bit of faith for prayer to work?

हिब्रू 11: 1

"११ अब विश्वास आशा गरिएका चीजहरुको पदार्थ हो, नदेखेका कुराहरुको प्रमाण।"

Faith does the impossible because it moves God to undertake for us, and nothing is impossible with God.

मर्कूस 10:27

"२ And र येशूले उनीहरुलाई हेरेर भन्नुभयो, मानिसहरु संग यो असम्भव छ, तर भगवान संग छैन: भगवान संग सबै कुरा सम्भव छ।"

Faith produces and works in conjunction with prayer.  I firmly believe if we pray with faith and God answers our prayer, our prayer life and faith grow stronger.  As young people, we need to understand that a lack of faith is rooted in a poor prayer life.  In other words, if we are not praying to God, our faith will be small.  When was the last time you prayed to God and asked Him to help you?  When was the last time you prayed for a soul to receive Salvation?  When was the last time you spent more than a couple of minutes crying out to God to answer your prayer?  Has your prayer life become weak, and subsequently, your faith in God is also weak?  God wants to answer our prayers, but we must bring our petitions to God in prayer.  Praying is something we need to learn to do as young people.  When we are in a situation that we cannot control, we should have faith that we can reach out to God for help.

Think about Abraham and when he prayed for Lot to be saved out of Sodom and Gomorra.

२३ अनि अब्राहाम नजिकै गए, र भने, के तिमी दुष्ट संग धर्मीलाई पनि नष्ट गर्छौ?

24 शहर मा पचास धर्मी हुन को लागी साहसिक: के तपाइँ पनी पचास धर्मीहरु को लागी ठाउँ लाई नष्ट गर्न र छोड्नुहुन्न?

25 यो दुनियाँ संग धर्मी को हत्या गर्न को लागी यस तरीकाले गर्न को लागी तिमी बाट टाढा छ, र धर्मी दुष्ट जस्तै हुनु पर्छ, कि तिमी बाट टाढा हुनु पर्छ: के सारा पृथ्वी को न्यायाधीश ठिक छैन?

26 र प्रभुले भन्नुभयो, यदि म सदोम शहर मा पचास धर्मी भेटे, तब म उनीहरुको खातिर सबै ठाउँ छोड्नेछु।

२ And अब्राहमले जवाफ दिए र भने, अब हेर, मैले प्रभुसँग बोल्ने जिम्मा लिएको छु, जो धुलो र खरानी मात्र हुन्।

२ Pe त्यहाँ पचास धर्मीहरु मध्ये पाँच को अभाव हुनेछ: के तिमी पाँच को अभाव मा सारा शहर लाई नष्ट गर्ने? अनि उसले भन्यो, यदि मँ त्यहाँ पैंतालीस देखेँ, म यसलाई नष्ट गर्दिन।

२ And अनि उसले उसलाई फेरी बोली, र भन्यो, "त्यहाँ चालीस जना भेटिन्छन्। र उसले भन्यो, म यो चालीसको खातिर गर्दिन।

30 अनि उसले उसलाई भन्यो, ओह प्रभु रिसाउनु हुन्न, र म बोल्नेछु: त्यहाँ तीस जना भेटिन्छन्। र उसले भन्यो, म यो गर्दिन, यदि मँ त्यहाँ तीस भेटेँ।

३१ र उसले भन्यो, हेर, अब म प्रभु संग बोल्ने मेरो जिम्मामा लिएको छु: त्यहाँ पचास जना त्यहाँ भेटिन्छन्। र उसले भन्यो, म यसलाई बीस को खातिर नष्ट गर्दैन।

३२ र उसले भन्यो, ओह प्रभु क्रोधित नहुनुहोस्, र मँ यो मात्र एक पटक मात्र बोल्नेछु: पेराडभेन्चर दस त्यहाँ भेटिनेछन्। अनि उसले भन्यो, म यसलाई दसको खातिर नष्ट गर्दिन।

३३ र अब्राहाम संग कुराकानी छोडने बित्तिकै प्रभु आफ्नो बाटो लाग्नुभयो: र अब्राहम आफ्नो ठाउँमा फर्किए।

We find Lot, Abraham’s nephew put himself in a terrible situation.  Abraham had the faith to go to God and ask Him for big things.  I don’t think this was the first time Abraham talked to God in prayer.  I am convinced that God knew Abraham on a first name basis because we also find in the scriptures that God was listening to Abraham.  Abraham was a man of prayer.

What about Moses and his petitions to God to spare the Israelite people?  Moses was a man of prayer.  Whenever the Israelites disobeyed God, Moses fell on his face before God and started praying.

प्रस्थान ३२: ११-१४

"11 र मोशाले परमप्रभु उसका परमेश्वरलाई बिन्ती गरे, र भने," हे प्रभु, तिमीहरुको क्रोध किन तिम्रा मानिसहरु बिरुद्ध तातो हुन्छ, जसलाई तिमीले ठूलो शक्ति र शक्तिशाली हातले मिश्र देश बाट बाहिर ल्याएका छौ?

12 तेसैले मिश्रीहरु किन बोल्नु पर्छ, र भन्नु पर्छ, दुष्टता को लागी उहाँले उनीहरुलाई बाहिर ल्याउनु भयो, पहाडहरुमा मार्न को लागी, र उनीहरुलाई पृथ्वी को अनुहार बाट भस्म गर्न को लागी? तेरो भयंकर क्रोध बाट फर्क, र तिम्रा जनता को बिरुद्ध यस दुष्ट को पश्चाताप।

13 अब्राहाम, इसहाक, र इस्राएल, तिम्रा सेवकहरुलाई याद गर, जसलाई तिमीले आफ्नो वचन दिएका थियौ, र उनीहरुलाई भने, म तिम्रो बीउलाई स्वर्गका ताराहरु जस्तै बढाउनेछु, र यो सबै देश जसको बारेमा म बोलेको छु, म उनीहरुलाई दिनेछु। तेरो सन्तान, र उनीहरु सदाको लागी यो विरासतमा पाउनेछन्।

14 अनि परमप्रभुले आफ्ना मानिसहरु लाई गर्ने दुष्टको पश्चाताप गर्नुभयो। ”

What about Elijah on the mountain with the prophets of Baal?  Remember Baal’s prophets tried all day to get their God’s attention.  The prophets danced around and cut themselves, but their God did not respond.  On the other hand, Elijah had a connection to God through prayer.

१ राजा १:: ३-3-३

३ 37 हे मेरो प्रभु, मेरो कुरा सुन्नुहोस्, कि यी मानिसहरु जान्दछन् कि तपाईं प्रभु परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ, र तपाईंले उनीहरुको हृदय फेरी फर्काउनु भयो।

38 तब परमप्रभुको आगो भत्कियो, र जलेको बलि, काठ, र ढु्गा र धूलो भस्म भयो, र खाडलमा रहेको पानी चाट्यो। ”

I am convinced that God knew Elijah’s voice when he prayed because Elijah prayed consistently to God.  So, when Elijah prayed, God heard and answered his Prayer.

Daniel 1:1-21

1 यहूदाका राजा यहोयाकीमको शासनकालको तेस्रो वर्षमा बेबिलोनका राजा नबूकदनेसर यरूशलेममा आए, र त्यसलाई घेरा हाले।

२ अनि परमप्रभुले यहूदाका राजा यहोयाकीमलाई उसको हातमा दिनु भयो, परमेश्वरको मन्दिरको भाँडाको अंशको साथमा; जुन उसले शिनारको भूमिमा उसको देवताको घरमा लग्यो। र तिनले ती भाँडाहरू आफ्ना देवताको खजानामा ल्याए।

3 अनि राजाले आफ्ना नपुंसकहरूका मालिक अश्पेनाजलाई भने, कि उनी इस्राएलका सन्तान, र राजाका सन्तान र राजकुमारहरु मध्ये केहीलाई ल्याउन चाहन्छन्।

४ बच्चाहरु जसमा कुनै दोष थिएन, तर राम्रो मनपर्ने, र सबै बुद्धि मा कुशल, र ज्ञान मा चालाक, र विज्ञान को समझ, र जस्तै कि उनीहरु मा राजा को दरबार मा खडा हुन को लागी क्षमता थियो, र जसलाई उनीहरु सिकाउन र सिकाउन सक्छन्। कल्दीहरुको जिब्रो।

५ अनि राजाले उनीहरुलाई राजाको मासु, र उनले पिएको दाखमद्य को एक दैनिक प्रावधान नियुक्त गरे: उनीहरुलाई तीन बर्ष सम्म पोषण, कि यसको अन्त्यमा उनीहरु राजाको सामुन्ने उभिन सक्छन्।

6 अब यिनीहरु मध्ये यहूदाका छोराहरु, दानियल, हनन्याह, मीशाएल र अजर्याह थिए:

7 जसलाई नपुंसकका राजकुमारले नाम दिए: किनकि उसले दानियललाई बेल्टशस्सरको नाम दियो; र हनन्याह, शद्रक को; र मीशाएल, मेशक को; र अबेरनेगो, Abednego को।

But तर दानियलले आफ्नो हृदयमा योजना बनाएका थिए कि उनी राजाको मासुको अंश वा आफूले पिएको दाखमद्यले आफूलाई अशुद्ध पार्ने छैनन्: यसैले उनले नपुंसकहरुका राजकुमारलाई अनुरोध गरे कि उनी आफुलाई अशुद्ध नपारोस्।

Now अब परमेश्वरले दानियललाई नपुंसकहरु को राजकुमार संग अनुग्रह र कोमल प्रेम मा ल्याउनु भएको थियो।

१० र नपुंसकका राजकुमारले दानियललाई भने, "मँ मेरो मालिक राजादेखि डराउँछु, जसले तपाइँको मासु र तपाइँको पेय नियुक्त गर्नुभएको छ: किन उसले तपाइँको अनुहार तिम्रो बच्चाहरु भन्दा नराम्रो मनपर्ने देख्नु पर्छ? तब तपाइँले मलाई मेरो टाउको राजाको लागी खतरामा पार्नुहुनेछ।

11 तब दानिएलले मेल्जारलाई भने, जसलाई नपुंसकहरूका राजकुमारले दानियल, हनन्याह, मीशाएल र अजर्याहमाथि नियुक्त गरेका थिए,

12 तिम्रा दासहरुलाई प्रमाणित गर, म तिमीलाई बिन्ती गर्दछु, दस दिन; र उनीहरु हामीलाई खाने को लागी पल्स, र पानी पिउन दिनुहोस्।

13 तब हाम्रा सामुन्ने तिमीहरुको सामुन्ने नजर राखीयो, र राजाको मासुको भाग खाने बच्चाहरु को मुहार लाई हेर।

14 त्‍यसैले उहाँ यस विषयमा उनीहरुसँग सहमत हुनुभयो, र उनीहरुलाई दस दिन प्रमाणित गर्नुभयो।

१५ र दस दिनको अन्त्यमा उनीहरुका कुराहरु राजाको मासुको भाग खाने सबै बच्चाहरु भन्दा मासुमा राम्रो र मोटो देखिए।

१ Thus यसरी मेल्जारले उनीहरुको मासुको अंश र उनीहरुले पिउनु पर्ने दाखमद्य लगे। र उनीहरुलाई पल्स दिए।

17 यी चार बच्चाहरु को लागी, भगवानले उनीहरुलाई सबै ज्ञान र ज्ञान मा ज्ञान र सीप दिनुभयो: र दानियल सबै दर्शन र सपनाहरु मा समझ थियो।

१ Now अब ती दिनहरुको अन्त्यमा जब राजाले उनीहरुलाई भित्र ल्याउन भन्नुभएको थियो, तब नपुंसकका राजकुमारले उनीहरुलाई नबूकदनेसरको सामु ल्याए।

19 अनि राजाले उनीहरुसंग कुराकानी गरे। र ती सबैमा दानियल, हनन्याह, मीशाएल र अजर्याह जस्ता कोहि भेटिएनन्: त्यसैले उनीहरु राजाको सामुन्ने उभिए।

२० र बुद्धि र समझ को सबै मामिलामा, कि राजाले उनीहरु लाई सोधपुछ गरे, उसले उनीहरुलाई सबै जादुगरहरु र ज्योतिषीहरु भन्दा दस गुणा राम्रो पायो जो उसको सबै क्षेत्र मा थिए।

२१ अनि दानियल राजा कोरेसको पहिलो वर्षसम्म पनि जारी रहे। ”

Daniel was also a man of prayer.  Daniel was an exiled Jew in Babylon, taken there as a boy.  He belonged to a noble family and was exceptionally able and intelligent.  Daniel lived through two kings and then finally King Darius.  King Darius divided his kingdom into one hundred and twenty provinces and appointed a prince or ruler over each province.  Over the princes, King Darius appointed three presidents, and over the presidents, King Darius placed Daniel.  About this time, Daniel was in his eighties, and his position made him second to the throne.  The princes and presidents below him became jealous and wanted Daniel out of the way.  They looked high and low to find fault with Daniel but couldn’t find anything wrong with his character.  But they did notice is Daniel kept the laws of his God and continually prayed.  What a testimony!  Even his worst enemies couldn’t find any fault in Daniel’s life.  Character is worth more than money or anything in this world.  Daniel’s character was perfect.  Because of their wicked jealousy, the princes and presidents devised a plan to get Daniel out of the way.  They went to King Darius and persuaded him to make a proclamation that prayer to any other than the King himself would be punishable by death.  This proclamation meant anyone caught praying to anything other than King Darius would be thrown into the lion’s den.

दानियल:: 7

"Then तब यी राष्ट्रपतिहरु र राजकुमारहरु राजा संग एक साथ भेला भए, र उसलाई यसो भन्यो, राजा दारास, सधैंभरि बाँच।

7 राज्यका सबै राष्ट्रपतिहरु, गभर्नरहरु, र राजकुमारहरु, सल्लाहकारहरु, र कप्तानहरु, एक शाही कानून स्थापित गर्न को लागी एक साथ परामर्श गरीएको छ, र एक दृढ डिक्री बनाउन को लागी, कि जो कोहि को लागी कुनै भगवान वा मानिस को निवेदन माग्नु पर्छ। तीस दिन, हे राजा, तपाइँ बाहेक, उहाँ सिंहको गुफामा फालिनुहुनेछ।

Daniel could have stopped praying.  He could have hidden, but Daniel was not a weak Christian!  He had moral stamina and courage!  Daniel was not ashamed to be caught on his knees praying to the true God.

दानियल 6: 10-11

१० अब जब दानियललाई थाहा भयो कि लेखमा हस्ताक्षर भएको छ, उनी आफ्नो घर गए। र उसको झ्यालहरु यरूशलेम तिर आफ्नो कोठा मा खुल्ला भएको थियो, उसले दिन मा तीन चोटि घुँडा टेकेर प्रार्थना गर्यो, र उसको भगवान को लागी धन्यवाद दिईयो, जस्तै उसले पहिले गरेको थियो।

11 तब ती मानिसहरू भेला भए, र दानियलले प्रार्थना गर्दै र उहाँको परमेश्वरको सामु बिन्ती गरिरहेका भेटे। ”

Daniel loved God so much that he was not afraid to open his window and pray just as he had done in times past.  The princes immediately told King Darius what Daniel had done, and the King became sorrowful because he loved Daniel.  He didn’t want to throw Daniel into the lions’ den.  But Daniel was not afraid because he believed God would deliver him.  Daniel felt prayer to God was so important he was ready to give his life for it.

प्रार्थना केहि चीज हो जुन हामी हरेक दिन गर्न को लागी छ। मँ एक युवा व्यक्ति को रूप मा तपाइँ प्रार्थना मा भगवान संग समय बिताउन सुनिश्चित गर्न को लागी चुनौती दिईरहेको छु।

फिलिप्पी ४:

“6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
